In this type of LFSR the feedback only affects the first bit. There are multiple variations of LFSR but in this article we will be focusing on the most basic type the Fibonacci LFSR. The LFSRĪn LFSR is a shift register like we have seen in previous articles, except that the bits besides shifting are also affected by the other bits in the register - this effect is what is referred to as the feedback.
